The Roadsides of India
I decided to start my blog with one of my favorite passions, images from my travels and stories.  I will now have a place to share with you some of the most amazing experiences I have been fortunate enough to have had.

One of the most enigmatic and fascinating places I have ever been to is India.  After the first trip, I left with a feeling like it would be a long time before I made it back there.  But there is something mysterious about that country and as time passed, I realized I wanted to go back more than ever.  It is a country as old as time, with over a billion people.

In many parts of the country, they live as they have for the past centuries, and in other parts, they are catching up fast to the western world.   I have only managed to travel to Rajasthan, but I am looking forward to the time I can explore the South as well.

We usually travel for around a week, so our traveling, are like "tastes" of the places we go to.  We want to cover as much as possible, so we pretty much are running around like crazy.   We  travel quite a lot with our children, believing the more they learn about other cultures, the more they will understand tolerance,  and that there are endless ways to live a life, and whichever way you choose to do it, as long as you respect those around you, is fine by us.  The education they get first hand is irreplaceable.

I wanted to share with you some of the images that I saw over and over again in India, How to get a shave…. I loved that in most places, you only need a chair and a mirror to set up shop.  On the Ganges, in Varanassi, a razor and shaving cream and you are in business.
