Friends that clean together!

I am a busy working mom, married to a busy working dad, with a busy 4 year old daughter! Our schedules start early in the morning - coffee at 5:30 and out of the door at 7:30.  My husband has the car - so the girls walk to Kindergarten and work!
At the end of the day it is start of new activities, dance class, friends, arts and crafts and oh yes taking care of the house.
Recently while I was multi tasking - straightening the house, cooking dinner, helping the little one with an art project and talking on the phone (using an ear peice - no hands!) with a girlfriend, we both complained that it is difficult to find the time to keep the house "super clean" (that is a good joke - when will the house ever be super clean - unless we have the professionals at least 2 a week) when we only have a few hours a week to do it on our own.
So....the two of us decided to hold cleaning parties, one morning a week she will come to my house and help me clean for 3 hours and then the next week I will go to her house for 3 hours and work with her to clean her house.
Now - you have to agree with me that only good, but really GOOD  friends will let another female into her house to clean her dirty sinks, bathrooms, pick up dirty laundry from the floor, find the dust behind the TV which you have been too lazy to clean for 3 months, empty garbage baskets from the rooms which haven't been emptied for a looonnnng time (full with those klennex's from the runny nose week)and clean out the fridge from the long overdue leftovers that we didn't eat!

So the party begins! Imagine this....the two of us singing together with the loud, really loud music - mostly 70's and 80's blasting out of the speakers, wearing old designer sweats (also probably from the 70's or 80's)  with lots of bleach stains, dancing the feather duster dance and the windex shuffle!

Only true good friends could do this together!

Next week we are going to her house! By the way she has four kids and a huge house.  What did I get myself into??
